Library Tour: The Southern Oregon Historical Society offers free tours of its research archive library from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturdays at the library, 106 N. Central Ave., Medford. The collection includes the original 1883 Medford town plan, the Pinto Colvig (Bozo the Clown) papers, and the Peter Britt collection of 5000 glass plate negatives and prints, along with thousands of original newspapers, maps and photographs. Following the tour, visitors can stay and ask questions, conduct research, or ask library volunteers to retrieve particular documents, photos or files.
