CENTRAL POINT — Grace Church will host Dr. Thomas J. Kindell in a creation versus evolution seminar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at 100 Oak St., Central Point.

Dr. Kindell is the founder and president of Reasons for Faith Ministries Inc., and will cover topics such as whether Noah's flood was global, whether dinosaurs are described in the Bible, and the origins of human races. Call 541-664-2428.

There will be a children's program during the services. Congregants are encouraged to include scratch-it lottery tickets with their collection offering as part of the center's March fundraiser. JACKSONVILLE — A Palm Sunday worship service will be held at 8:55 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 24, at First Presbyterian Church, 425 Middle St.

A Maundy Thursday worship service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 28, a Good Friday worship service will be held at noon Friday, March 29, and Easter worship celebrations will be held at 6:30, 8:55 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 31.

ASHLAND — First Presbyterian Church will hold Palm Sunday worship services at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, March 24, at the church, at the corner of Siskiyou Boulevard and Walker Avenue.

A Good Friday walk will start 6 a.m. at the church Friday, March 29, to carpool to Emigrant Lake for a time of song, Scripture and prayer. A Good Friday Tenebrae Service will be held at 7 p.m.

An Easter celebration will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday for an all-church service. Attendees are encouraged to bring cut flowers for the cross. Call 541-482-3536.

ASHLAND — Rabbi Joshua Boettiger and Chazzan Bella Feldman will lead a second night Passover seder at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at Temple Emek Shalom, 1800 E. Main St.

There will be an ecumenical trip to witness the installation of Archbishop Alexander Sample to the Portland archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church.

A bus provided by Set Free Christian Fellowship to attend the installation Mass and reception will leave Medford at 7 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, and return around 11 p.m.
