Ashland councilor to share views on city issues
Ashland City Councilor Stephen Jensen will discuss city topics in the newly refurbished main meeting room at Mountain Meadows next week, discussing a wide variety of topics.
Councilor Jensen will present his views on topics including homelessness, rehabilitating or replacing City Hall, piping the Ashland Canal, emergency preparedness, wildfire smoke and the possibility of an earthquake on the Cascadia Subduction zone off the Oregon coast.
The public is welcome to attend the meeting, which is hosted by Mountain Meadows Democrats Plus, starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Mountain Meadows Clubhouse, 855 Mountain Meadows Drive.
The meeting room has been expanded, now accommodating more than 100 people, which will allow Democrats Plus to invite the larger Ashland community to its monthly meetings.
