Morgan to run for state house again
Rep. Lily Morgan, R-Grants Pass, the House minority whip, announced she will run for re-election next year.
Morgan, who represents District 3, was elected to the State House last year.
“It has been an honor and a privilege working for Southern Oregonians in Salem,” Morgan said in a press release.
Some of the priorities she touted included fighting illegal marijuana grows, pushing back against "restrictions to civil liberties resulting from … state mandates” as well as protecting Second Amendment rights.
Her legislative colleague, Vikki Breese Iverson, commented that Morgan is “essential to our team in Salem” and someone who is “ready to take on any task needed at the Capitol.”
