Jackson County Master Gardeners to host classes
The Jackson County Master Gardeners Association will put on weekly vegetable gardening classes starting March 15.
The "Seed to Supper" classes are free and open to the public. They will be from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays, March 15 through April 19, at the Oregon State University Extension Service, 569 Hanley Road, Central Point, according to a news release.
The six sessions will showcase practical, low-cost techniques for planting, maintaining and harvesting a successful vegetable garden. Course topics will include planning, site and soil development, planting, container gardening, and harvesting.
