Medford woman jailed on theft charges
GRANTS PASS — Kindra Danielle Horal, 30, of Medford was jailed Friday in several cases involving the shoplifting and selling of TVs and other items from stores in Josephine and Jackson counties.
She was taken into custody at the Josephine County Courthouse, after finally showing up after numerous instances of skipping scheduled court appearances.
Twice in the last year, Horal was released from the Josephine County Jail, due to overcrowding. Two alleged accomplices from Redding, California, remain at large.
She is accused of stealing a 32-inch TV valued at $426, an airsoft rifle valued at $229 and a toy valued at $40 from the Grants Pass Walmart in February of last year. Alleged accomplice Aaron Follett, 27, is accused of pawning the TV.
Horal, Follett and Matthew Horal, 31, also are accused in Jackson County of stealing and selling, or trying to sell items from five stores, including another television from Walmart, $1,000 in merchandise from Ulta Beauty, and a comforter and purses from Macy's.
All three also are charged with possession of heroin. Follett and Horal are listed as living in Redding, California.
