The Hamazons

This improvisational comedy trio — Cil Stengel, Eve Smyth and Kyndra Laughery — will present "A Completely Improvised Zombie Apocalypse" in the style of Jane Austen at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20-21, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Bellview Grange, 1050 Tolman Creek Road, Ashland. Look for a terrifyingly funny show filled with wit, romance, danger and brains ... lots of brains. Tickets are $15 in advance and available at hamazons.com, or $18 at the door.

L.E.F.T.

Rock band L.E.F.T. — singer and guitarist Bret Levick, Dobro player Bob Evoniuk on Dobro, bassist Greg Frederick, drummer Matt Terreri and Don Harriss on keys — will perform Levick's original music, along with choice cover songs by the Rolling Stones, David Bowie and more at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Grape Street Bar & Grill, 31 S. Grape St., Medford. There is no cover for the show.

'Motown Get Down'

A dance party featuring live sounds of Motown, soul and oldies performed by the Danielle Kelly Soul Project — singer Danielle Kelly, guitarist Paul Turnipseed, drummer Matthew Kriemelman, bassist Richard Meyer and Gordon Greenley on sax — will be held at 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Elks Lodge, 255 E. Main St., Ashland. Tickets are $12 in advance and can be purchased at elks944.org/buy. Tickets will be $15 at the door. Proceeds from tickets and bar sales will benefit CASA, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting abused children.

Rogue Valley Symphonic Band

The community band, conducted by Don Bieghler, will present "Dracula's Playlight ... With a Twist!" a program of Halloween-themed music featuring J.S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Saint Saens' "Danse Macabre," Berlioz' "March to the Scaffold" from Symphonie Fantastique and more at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, in the Music Recital Hall, 405 S. Mountain Ave., on the Southern Oregon University campus in Ashland. Tickets are $12, $10 for seniors, $8 for students, $20 for a family of four, and can be purchased online at roguevalleysymphonicband.org or at the door.

The Simon & Garfunkel Story

This concert experience pays tribute to folk-rock duo Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. Look for such hits as "Mrs. Robinson," "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Scarborough Fair" played by a live band and accompanied by cutting-edge lighting and projections. The show is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. Tickets are $32, $35 or $38, $22, $25 or $28 for ages 22 and younger, and can be purchased at craterian.org, at the box office, 16 S. Bartlett St., or by calling 541-779-3000.
