Bob Haworth and John Hollis: The singer, songwriter and guitar duo will present "Tales and Tunes from the Folk Music Era," an old-fashioned hootenanny, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Eagle Point Grange, 5 S. Shasta Ave. Haworth is a 1965 graduate of Medford High School. By 1970, he joined The Brothers Four, a Seattle-based folk group, and in 1985, he joined The Kingston Trio and toured and recorded with the popular folk group for 20 years. Their last show was in 2005 at Britt Festival. Singer and guitarist Hollis is a regular performer at Callahan's Lodge near Mount Ashland. Haworth and Hollis will trace the rise of folk music from Woody Guthrie through Peter, Paul and Mary and others. The audience is invited to sing along.
