Record Convention: The 13th annual Grants Pass Record Convention will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Josephine County Fairgrounds, 1451 Fairgrounds Road, Grants Pass. Admission is $2. Early entry begins at 7 a.m. and the cost is $5. With over 35 vendor tables, look for collectible 33-1/3 record albums, 45 rpm records, CD’s, DVD’s, and sheet music all from the 40’s to the present.

Make-A-Blanket Day: Join others in sewing, knitting or crocheting a blanket for Project Linus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in the Community room at The Meadows, 555 Freeman Road, Central Point. Lunch will be provided. For quilters, a precut quilt top will be provided; please bring a small cutting board, sewing machine and supplies and extension cord. Crocheters and knitters must bring all their own supplies. The mission of Project Linus is to provide warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets. Bowling Fundraiser: The Southern Oregon Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind will host a fundraiser at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Lava Lanes, 2980 Crater Lake Highway, Medford. Admission is $20 which will includes 2 rounds of bowling and shoe rental. Proceeds go to providing braille books for the blind in Southern Oregon. Kitten Shower: SoHumane will host a fundraiser and information program from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the SoHumane Adoption Center, 2910 Table Rock Road, Medford. Learn more about the kitten foster program and learn how you might prepare for your own kitten. Enter your favorite kitten name in a raffle, enjoy refreshments, visit the cats and dogs available for adoption, and meet some of the SoHumane staff and volunteers who will be caring for all of the kittens arriving later this spring and summer. 4-H Rabbit Exhibit: Local 4-H members will display a variety of rabbits to pet and hold from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Northwest Nature Shop, 154 Oak St., Ashland. 4-H members will also share their knowledge of raising and caring for rabbits. American Legion Egg Hunt: American Legion No. 15 in Medford will host its Easter egg hunt at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in Veterans Memorial Park, 100 Armory Drive, Medford.
