UPDATE: Adeline Griffin has been found safe, Medford police reported at 4:30 p.m.

Police are searching for an 84-year-old woman who reportedly has shown some early signs of dementia.

Adeline Griffin was last seen about 7:30 a.m. Friday near the Medford airport while attempting to help her husband return a rental car, and apparently got lost.

Griffin is described as a Caucasian woman, 5-feet, 4-inches tall, with short hair she dyes red, wearing cuffed blue jeans and dark slip-on shoes.

Anyone who spots her is asked to call dispatchers at 541-770-4783.
