Medford tax office to temporarily close for construction
Construction in a customer service area will close the Oregon Department of Revenue’s Medford office to the public for about two and a half weeks.
The tax office, 3613 Aviation Way, will be closed to the public starting Wednesday, Sept. 22, while crews finish a construction project “to enhance the safety and security of our customer service area,” according to a news release from the agency. The office will return to its normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11.
While the front doors are closed, a secure drop box will be installed at the revenue office that will be checked daily, according to the release. Medford office staff will mail receipts to customers.
Many tax services, such as initiating appeals, making payments and submitting questions, can be conducted online at revenueonline.dor.oregon.gov.
Other Department of Revenue services are available by phone and email. For tax forms, to check the status of refunds or to make payments, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-800-356-4222. More information is at oregon.gov/dor.
