Weekly COVID report shows drops in cases, deaths

The Oregon Health Authority’s most recent weekly COVID-19 outbreak report showed declines from the previous week in cases, COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths.

The report tracked outbreaks in senior living communities, workplaces, child care centers and schools for the week of Feb.14-20.

The following is a list of cases in Jackson and Josephine counties.

Care facilities

Jackson County: Hearthstone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (62 cases, two deaths), Ridgeview Assisted Living Facility (23 cases), Avamere at Three Fountains (46 cases), Avamere at Waterford Assisted Living Facility (19 cases, one death), Skylark Assisted Living (21 cases, one death), Bonaventure of Medford Assisted Living (19 cases), Springs at Veranda Park (16 cases), Linda Vista Nursing & Rehab Center (17 cases), Rogue Valley Manor (13 cases), Celia's House in Holmes Park (10 cases), Weatherly Court (24 cases);

Josephine County: Applegate House of Grants Pass (15 cases, four deaths), Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center (87 cases, 11 deaths), Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (34 cases), Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center (30 cases), Countryside Village (five cases), Regency Care of Rogue Valley (35 cases), Countryside Village (14 cases), Oak Lane Retirement (eight cases), Laurel Hill Nursing Center (15 cases), Cascades of Grants Pass - The Village (10 cases, one death), Bridge Assisted Living (28 cases), Suites Assisted Living Community (19 cases), Redwood Terrace (eight cases), Kinsington Place (five cases), Kinsington at Redwood Park (22 cases), Arbor House of Grants Pass (10 cases).

Workplaces

Jackson County: No active outbreaks were listed in this week’s report.

Josephine County: First Student Bus Company (six cases), ReadyRide (six cases), Rural Metro Fire Department (nine cases), Masterbrand Cabinets (20 cases), American Medical Response (20 cases), Josephine County Jail (45 cases)

Jackson County: No active outbreaks were listed in this week’s report.
