Zion Lutheran Church

The church, at 516 W. Fourth St., Medford, will celebrate its 125th anniversary this weekend, then hold its final worship service. A 125th anniversary ceremony is slated for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12. Former pastors, members and friends of the church are encouraged to attend. A closing worship service will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 14. The congregation voted last year to sell the church grounds, including its 1928 sanctuary designed by architect Frank Clark. Jacksonville Presbyterian Church

The church, at 425 Middle St., Jacksonville, will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12.
