Jackson County reports 18 new COVID-19 cases
The Oregon Health Authority reported 18 new COVID-19 cases for Jackson County Thursday and one COVID-19-related death.
A 78-year-old man with underlying health conditions died March 15 at Providence Medford Medical Center, OHA said.
OHA reported 21 new COVID-19 cases in Josephine County and two COVID-19-related deaths.
A 61-year-old man died Feb. 10 at his residence, and an 88-year-old woman died Feb. 14 at her residence. Both had underlying conditions, OHA said.
Statewide, OHA reported 331 new COVID-19 cases and 27 deaths. Those who died passed away last year and in January, February and March, according to OHA.
The number of Oregon hospital patients with the virus stood at 215 Thursday, according to hospitalization data.
Hospitals in Jackson and Josephine counties were caring for 20 COVID-19 patients Thursday.
