Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

The church at the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z, Phoenix, will hold a Holy Friday Matins with Lamentations at 5 p.m. Friday, April 22. Shady Point SDA Church

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

The church, at 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford, will hold a special celebration commemorating the Feast of St. Mark the Evangelist at 9 a.m., Sunday, April 24. Right Reverend Diana Akiyama, Bishop of the Diocese of Oregon, will attend and preside over services that include the dedication of the church’s new parish hall and community center. Temple Emek Shalom

The temple at 1800 E. Main St., Ashland, will host an Earth Day event in the parking lots between the temple and GracePoint Church. Events will include test drives in electric vehicles, solar experts, water conservation experts, bike maintenance experts, green energy advocates with the City of Ashland and representatives of local environmental organizations. Havurah Synagogue

The synagogue, at 185 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland, will hold its first hybrid Shabbat morning service featuring Maggidah Cyrise Beatty Schachter and her band, Asiyah Trio, along with Rabbi David Zaslow and others at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 30.
