A parade, classic cars and plenty of human crowing are just some of the events in store this weekend at Rogue River’s 69th annual Rooster Crow.

This year’s extravaganza — with an event theme of “Get Out and Crow” — kicks into high gear with the annual parade at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at the Woodville Shopping Center Parking Lot, 510 E. Main St., Rogue River, according to information on the Rogue River Kiwanis and Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber of Commerce websites.

The human crowing contest starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, and the National Rooster Crowing Contest follows at 2:30 p.m.

Other events from Friday, June 24, through Sunday, June 26, are all-day children’s activities at the “Kidz Koop,” including a carnival, arts and crafts, live music and car shows for vehicles made before 1975.
