New photos released of 2 sought in Purple Parrot armed robbery
Update: The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office released new photos Wednesday showing two people suspected of robbing Purple Parrot in White City at gunpoint Monday evening.
Police are hoping the public can help them identify the suspects.
Original story: Two people who robbed a Purple Parrot video poker establishment in White City Monday evening are sought by police, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
At 5:54 p.m. Monday, JCSO deputies responded to a panic alarm on the 7300 block of Highway 62 in White City. Upon arrival, deputies learned an adult man and woman came into the store, pointed a gun at the cashier and stole money, the release stated.
The first suspect was described as a Hispanic female in her 20s with brown/red curly hair, wearing a skull mask and a black zip-up sweatshirt.
The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult wearing a dark baseball cap and a black bandanna. No vehicle description was available, and they left in an unknown direction, the release stated.
