Love one another
A writer on Feb. 12 states that those asking to “pray for our nation” accomplish nothing, going to an entity that doesn’t exist. Then he confounds us to do as Jesus taught, to take care of the poor.
Jesus also taught us to pray The Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:9-13
Jesus said, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despitefully use and persecute you.” Matthew 5:44
Our country has been divided for years, and now freedom is in jeopardy because of hate, cancel culture, blaming, censorship and hypocrisy. There are two sides to every coin. One side is not above the other, nor should it be all or nothing! One cannot ask for unity when demanding conformity. Love one another, Hebrews 13:1.
I should like to send my heartiest congratulations to all 43 Republican senators who voted to acquit Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial by solidly standing by the Republican Party’s core values of voter suppression, systematic racism, insurrection and outright lying. Well done!
Isn’t it ironic that while tens of thousands of Russians were protesting against Vladimir Putin’s fascist kleptocracy, in America, Republicans and their mob of fascist terrorists were trying to overthrow our democracy and install the Putin fascist kleptocracy under Donald Trump.
If you are not sickened watching the attack on our republic’s center of government, then you are just sick, full stop. I do not want to hear any more Republican BS about patriotism. Because of them, we now know what anarchy looks like in America.
To Republicans, if you lose an election after cheating in every venue didn’t work, sedition, insurrection and anarchy are the next steps and accepted by the majority of Republicans.
Sinclair Lewis and others are attributed with this prediction: “when a fascist coup comes to America, it will be cloaked in the American flag and carrying a cross.” Nostradamus himself could not have made a more accurate prediction.
I’ve never seen such cowards as Republicans in Congress that are so afraid of the terrorist groups, they themselves created over the last 40 years. They cannot openly admit the truth for fear of retaliation by their coalition of Nazis, white nationalists, QAnon losers and racists. Sad.
Prosecutor: You, the CEO of this banking institution, have embezzled $5,000.
Defense attorney: Judge, the figure is incorrect, it should read $ 4,999.
Judge McConnell: Because of this technicality, I dismiss this case and render the accused innocent.
