Rauch says farewell
I’m writing these words from the Medford airport as my family and I prepare to fly away from our Southern Oregon home of the past 12 years.
Our children were 2 and 7 when we moved to Ashland. They are now 14 and 19, having literally grown up in Ashland. Last night we took a driving tour of the community’s many beautiful parks and we were flooded with so many great memories from their childhoods.
My husband Christopher and I wanted to take this moment to thank all of you for the support and love we felt as a family over the years. We feel so lucky to have lived in your midst. We are particularly grateful to the teachers and administrators at Helman Elementary School, Ashland Middle School and Ashland High School for all that you give to young people and their families. We look forward to visiting this precious community soon and often.
