Maskless on the Plaza
I am very much in disagreement in the lack of masks on the Plaza.
Explore regenerative farming
I am not a farmer. In fact, I am barely a gardener, but I do care deeply about our earth and the climate crisis that threatens our future. For this reason, I was glad to see the Ashland Tidings’ front-page article about regenerative agriculture, a low-tech practice that promises to make a huge difference in combating climate change by sequestering carbon in the soil.
I highly recommend the Netflx documentary on the topic: “Kiss the Ground.” Narrated by Woody Harrelson, the film describes how regenerative agriculture “could balance our climate, replenish our vast water supplies, and feed the world.” It is a hopeful approach, and I’m grateful that there is an opportunity to learn more about it in the upcoming soil symposium (soilsymposium2020.org).
