Fondue is Back - and We're Talking Chocolate
Want something a little different for dessert this holiday season? One of the hottest trends right now is fondue - and not your grandmother's cheese fondue! Oh no, we're talking chocolate. Do we have you, attention now? We thought so.
Set out some marshmallows, fruit, cubes of pound cake and/or pretzels for dipping and watch the crowds form!
A combination of premium, dark chocolate and citrus orange makes this indulgent fondue a simply irresistible treat.Ingredients:Instructions:
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
1 (8 oz.) dark chocolate baking bar, finely chopped
1 tablespoon orange liqueur (optional)
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
HEAT cream in small, heavy-duty saucepan over MEDIUM-HIGH heat; bring just to a boil. Remove from heat. Add chocolate; stir until smooth. Add liqueur and orange peel; mix well.
TRANSFER fondue to fondue pot; place over low heat. Stir often while on heat. Makes 1 1/4 cups.
