Favorite teacher and why: Ms. Stenberg. She is one of the most genuinely nice and caring people I know. She is willing to do almost anything to help her students do well and understand the material.

Plans for after high school: To go to college and major in pre-med and then go on to medical school, probably to specialize in neonatology.

What advice would you give younger students to help them get the most out of their school years? Try to find something you are passionate about early on, and don't stress over grades. Worry more about learning the information and the rest will come on its own.

What do you do in your free time? I like to just hang out with my friends and family and have a good time. During the summer, I like to do anything having to do with water: Wake boarding, surfing,kayaking, swimming. I also like to mountain bike. During the winter, I ski.

Favorite book and author: "Haroun and the Sea of Stories" by Salmond Rushdie.

Last movie you saw: "Employee of the Month."

Favorite teacher and why: Mr. St. Onge, my calculus teacher. He pushes us to new limits in such a hysterical and personal way. He is always willing to give of his time to help us succeed. Plans for after high school: After high school I hope to go to Whitman College and study pre-med, following that with a medical career.

What advice would you give younger students to help them get the most out of their school years? Pursue a wide range of activities and interests now so that you will have more opportunities later in life. Work hard when you work, and play hard when you play. Have the most fun you can, while keeping your future in mind. "Do what

you like. Like what you do."
