College honors

Chad Larson of Medford and Emily Curty of Ashland were among the 412 students named to the spring 2012 Dean's List at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.

To be eligible for the academic honor, a student must earn a 3.5 grade-point average while taking at least 12 graded credit hours of classes. NNU's Dean's List includes students from 21 states and three foreign countries.


Kindra Zane Fletcher, daughter of Jennifer Boardman of Central Point, was named to Pensacola Christian College's President's List for her academic achievement during the spring semester. She earned an A average.

Pensacola Christian College, located in Pensacola, Fla., is a liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 3,800 students in undergraduate, graduate and seminary programs.


Courtney Jean Jung received her Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy on June 9 from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif.

She is a 2006 graduate of South Medford High School and a 2009 graduate of Seattle Pacific University.


Cody Brian Meuser made the Dean's List for the Spring 2012 semester at University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif. To be named to the Dean's List students must have earned a GPA of 3.65 or higher.

Meuser also graduated May 26 from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Business with an emphasis in Global Information Systems and Sustainable Technologies.

In addition to graduating on the Dean's List, Meuser is a distinguished member of the Omicron Delta Kappa, National Leadership Honor Society. He is a 2008 honor graduate of South Medford High School and son of Melissa Meuser Bellm and grandson of George and Judith Meuser.


Linfield College recently released its spring semester Dean's List. To be named to the Dean's List, students must complete 12 graded credits and be in the top 10 percent of their class.

Christina Bonelli of Medford graduated magna cum laude from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H., on May 12, 2012.

Bonelli earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with high honors and minors in advertising and public relations. Bonelli was also named to the Dean's Honors List for the spring semester by maintaining a term grade point average of at least 3.65 on a scale of four.


Thomas and Hannah Gilder have been named to the Dean's List for Spring 2012 at Newcomb-Tulane College in New Orleans. Thomas and Hannah Gilder are the children of Dr. and Mrs. Earl Gilder of Medford, and graduates of North Medford High School.
