Blessing of the Animals service at St. Mark's
Holy Eucharist services will be at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 140 N. Oakdale Ave. A "blessing of the animals" service will be held at the 10 a.m. service, and congregants are encouraged to bring a pet to be blessed. Communion event at First Presbyterian of Medford

In celebration of World Communion Sunday, Medford Congregational United Church of Christ will focus on the book "Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We're in Without Going Crazy" by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at 1801 E.
