Trunk or Treat at the Naz

Medford First Church of the Nazarene, 1974 E. McAndrews Road, Medford, will hold its eighth annual "Trunk or Treat" party from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. The free, family event will include an inflatable bounce house, hot dogs, cotton candy, a cake walk, and an opportunity to win a Samsung Galaxy tablet.

Canned food drive at St. Mark's

Members of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford, are encouraged to bring canned food donations during services at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, for the church's weekly food pantry, which is available from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays at the church parish hall.

A marimba concert will be offered at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at the church. The performance will be presented by Southern Oregon University students of Terry Longshore in the church sanctuary. The program is free, and donations will be accepted. Call 541-821-0977.

Service at First Presbyterian Church of Medford

Worship service at Center for Spiritual Living

Center for Spiritual Living interim spiritual director Neale Donald Walsch will continue his multi-part series "Getting to Know God" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at 3581 Lear Way.

Services at MCUCC

Rev. Kurt Katzmar will preach at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Medford Congregational United Church of Christ, 1801 E. Jackson St., Medford. A progressive church school is offered for elementary and middle school students.

"Living the Questions" adult study programs are offered at 7 p.m. Mondays and 11 a.m. Tuesdays at the church.

RVUUF service

A service titled "Building a New Way" will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 87 Fourth St., Ashland. The Alan Berman Trio will perform as guest musicians. Halloween harvest festival

Families are encouraged to arrive in costumes for a free harvest festival at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at First Presbyterian Church of Central Point, 456 W. Pine St. The event will include food, games, bobbing for apples, and costume contests with prizes. Call 541-664-1828.

Christ Unity Church events

Rev. Rob Wheeler will give a sermon titled "Your Importance to God" at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St., Medford. A children's Sunday school is offered during the service.

A "Healing from the Heart" service is offered at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the church. The service seeks to improve relaxation and reduce stress.

Vegan luncheon and discussion at SDA church

Healthy Living Ministries, the temperance ministry of the Central Point Seventh-day Adventist Church, will offer a vegan luncheon and lecture titled "Exploring the World's Grains" at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at the church, 625 N. 10th St. The luncheon will include lesser-known grains, including gluten-free ones, and Dr. Jim Said will give a lecture about "Thyroid, Adrenal and Brain Chemistry." Upcoming Family Life Conference

Lighthouse Family Worship Center, 3500 Arrowhead Drive, Medford, will offer a Family Life Conference from Friday to Sunday, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. Friday events will include a harvest party for kids from 5 to 7 p.m., and children are encouraged to come dressed as a Bible characters to earn raffle tickets. An evening service will be offered from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday events will include sessions for married couples, singles and children's activities from 11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., with a complimentary lunch from 12:15 to 1 p.m. The conference will conclude Sunday with a service for all at 10:30 a.m. Call 541-778-1255.

Spiritual workshop in Ashland
