Worship service for those with disabilities
Faith Lutheran Church will offer a Jesus Cares Worship at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at 1773 S. Columbus Ave., Medford. The service will follow a simplified format appropriate for people with cognitive disabilities, including people with forms of dementia. Pictures and symbols will lead participants through the service, and simple rhythm instruments will allow non-readers and those who are non-verbal to participate.

Valentine's Day gospel concert
A keyboard gospel concert featuring music from the hymnal and classic love songs will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Upper Rogue Community Center, 22465 Highway 62, Shady Cove.
Pieces to be performed include the music of Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Nat King Cole and Elvis. Requests will be accepted, and a salad and dessert potluck will be held at intermission. Admission is free, and donations will be accepted. Call 541-531-6544.
Global Heart Game Night at CSL
The Center for Spiritual Living Rogue Valley will hold a Global Heart Game Night from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at The Haven, 1970 Ashland St., Ashland. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite board game to play.
Author and interim spiritual director Neale Donald Walsch will present "What Ernest Holmes Taught" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at 3581 Lear Way, Medford. Cathy Bolton will provide music during the service, and a guided meditation will be at 10 a.m. The short film "Sound Healing" will be shown following the worship service as part of the center's "Spiritual Cinema" series."

Guest speaker at St. Mark's
The men of St. Mark's Episcopal Church will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the church parish hall, 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford.
The church will hold its worship service at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, in the sanctuary. Dr. Patrick Gillette will speak about "Understanding the Healthy Brain" during an adult forum at 9:10 a.m. The presentation is the first in a series titled "Keep Your Mind for Later Use." Along with tips to keep the brain healthy, Gillette will share the latest information about dementia.
The men of St. Mark's will prepare the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17.
The church will observe Ash Wednesday with two services at noon and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18 at the church.
