Service for people with disabilities

Faith Lutheran Church will hold a Worship at the Cross simplified service geared toward people with intellectual or developmental disabilities at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at 1773 S. Columbus Ave., Medford. The service includes pictures and symbols to lead participants through the service, and simple rhythm instruments will allow nonreaders and those who are nonverbal to participate. Christ Unity Church

Christ Unity Church will hold a Sacred Healing Meditation service at noon Saturday, July 11, at 540 N. Holly St., Medford.

Rev. Rob Wheeler will give a sermon titled "In the Shadow" Sunday, July 12. Children's Sunday school will be available.

Services at St. Mark's

St. Mark's Episcopal Church will offer services at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, July 12, at 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford. The church's Chancel Choir will welcome new members and practice at 9 a.m.

Guest preacher at Medford First Presbyterian 

Rev. Kathy Waugh will serve as guest preacher with a sermon titled "Rest and Re-Creation" during services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 12, at First Presbyterian Church of Medford, 85 S. Ascension recognizes youth leaders

Pastor Doug Void will give a sermon at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 12, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 675 Black Oak Drive, Medford. During the service, the church will recognize youth and leaders who will be attending the ELCA National Youth Gathering in Detroit.

Christian Science Church of Medford will hold its biannual sacrament service at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 12, at 100 Windsor Ave., Medford. Center for Spiritual Living remembers keyboardist

Rev. Kimberly Hawkins will present "The Pause that Refreshes" during the Center for Spiritual Living service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 12, at 3581 Lear Way, Medford. A guided meditation will be offered prior to the service at 10 a.m.

A memorial service for the center's keyboardist Kathy Campbell will be at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Vacation Bible school at West Main Church

A free vacation Bible school for children who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade will run from 8:45 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, July 13-17, at West Main Church of Christ, 1701 W. Main St., Medford. The theme will be "Hometown Nazareth: Where Jesus was a kid."
