St. Marks Sunday School hosts family barbecue

St. Mark's Episcopal Church will hold a  family barbecue and hayride from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at the Nilles Ranch in Central Point. For information and directions call 541-773-7286.

The church will hold its Holy Eucharist services at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, July 19, at the church, 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford. During the adult forum between the two services at 9:10 a.m., Peggy Evans will present "Our Rex, the King of Instruments," a session about the church's pipe organ.  Stained glass sermon series continues at Medford First Presbyterian

Pastor Murray Richmond will continue his sermon series about the historic stained glass windows in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church of Medford with "The Woman at the Well" during services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 19, at 85 S. Holly St., Medford.

Vacation Bible School openings at Ascension Lutheran Church

Pastor Doug Void will give a sermon at Ascension Lutheran Church at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 19, at 675 Black Oak Drive, Medford.

The Rev. Kurt Katzmar will describe a public rally he witnessed in Dresden, Germany, and illustrate tensions taking place in Europe in a sermon titled "Landing on a Bonepile" during the worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 19, at Medford Congregational United Church of Christ, 1801 E. Jackson St., Medford.

 Christian Science service about 'Life'

Center for Spiritual Living service explores 'truth'

The Rev. Kimberly Hawkins will present "Feeling the Truth" during the Center for Spiritual Living service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 19, at 3581 Lear Way, Medford. A guided meditation is offered from 10 to 10:15 a.m. Sunday prior to the service.
