Westminster Presbyterian Church

Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2000 Oakwood Drive, Medford, will hold a "Surviving the Holidays" grief support workshop from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14. The event will include a video about challenges grieving people face over the holidays, and afterward attendees will divide into small groups to share. All will be given an opportunity to light a candle in memory of loved ones.

Light refreshments will be served, and attendees will receive a free booklet. Cost is a suggested donation of $10, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Call 541-773-8274, ext. 112.

First Presbyterian Church of Medford

Ashland First Congregational 

Rev. Anne Bartlett, retired rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Ashland, will serve as interim pastor of First Congregational United Church of Christ, 717 Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland, until the appointment of a pastor in January 2016. Bartlett served at Trinity Episcopal from 2000 to 2010. In retirement she has served as consultant for congregations in the diocese and as supply clergy.
