Water's Edge Community Church

The church will hold a service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at the Central Medford High School commons, 815 S. Oakdale Ave., Medford. The service will include an Emmaus meal and a discussion of how the story of the Good Samaritan relates today. See www.twecc.com.

Medford Christian Science Church

A sermon titled "Make No Mistake — God Never Made Evil" will be given during a service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at Christian Science Church, 100 Windsor Ave., Medford.

Ashland Congregational Church

Ashland Congregational Church, 717 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland, will celebrate the beginning of Advent with the traditional "Hanging of Greens" and tree decorating on Saturday, Dec. 5. As part of his family Christmas tradition, church member Zach Light will lead participants in the search for the "perfect tree." Participants will gather at the church at 10:30 a.m. and be back to the church by 3 p.m. to decorate.
