Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

A Liturgy of pre-sanctified gifts will be offered at 7 a.m. Friday, April 8, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, at the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z, Phoenix. Great Vespers will be offered at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 9. Matins begins at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 10, with Sunday school for children. Divine Liturgy follows at 9:30 a.m., with a vegan potluck lunch afterward.

Daily midday prayers are at 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday. Lenten pre-sanctified Liturgy is offered at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, with a potluck supper afterward, and again at 7 a.m. Friday, April 15. For more information call Father Andreas Blom at 541-690-8822.

Central Neighborhood Church

The church will host a free classic movie night at 7 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Central Neighborhood Church, 4777 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix. The movie is the Cary Grant comedy "The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer," and viewers can bring a snack to share. Call 541-512-1616.

Havurah Synagogue

"Sisters, Saints, Sinners, Shamans and Samurais," a concert of interfaith stories, poetry and music featuring Rabbi David Zaslow and Debra Zaslow, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Havurah Synagogue, 185 N.
