Faith Lutheran Church

Our Lady of the Mountain

Our Lady of the Mountain will engage in a 5.1-mile pilgrimage Saturday, June 11, to Sacred Heart Church. Walkers will stop to pray along the way and will end with a mass celebrated by Father Maro Escano of Our Lady of the Mountain. The event will start at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the Shoppes at Exit 24 and go along the Bear Creek Greenway to Sacred Heart Church, 517 W. 10th St., Medford. Mass will begin at Sacred Heart at 1 p.m.

Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z, Phoenix. Matins is at 8 a.m. Sunday, June 12, with Sunday school for children during Matins. Divine Liturgy starts at 9:30 a.m., with a potluck meal afterward.

First Presbyterian Church, Medford

Pastor Murray Richmond's message will be "Judge, or Judge Not" at an 8:30 a.m. informal service and 10:30 a.m. traditional service Sunday, June 12, at First Presbyterian Church, 85 S. Holly St., Medford. The informal service features contemporary music and the traditional service has a full Chancel Choir and pipe organ music. Jazz violinist Lesa Terry will be featured with the John Dabaco Trio at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 12. She is the cousin of  trumpeter Clark Terry, of "Tonight Show" fame from the days of Johnny Carson. Admission is free.
