First Presbyterian Church, Central Point

The Songbirds will give a free concert at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at First Presbyterian Church, 456 W. Pine St., Central Point. The public is invited. Sunday worship is at 10:30 a.m. Sunday school and child care are provided. Adult Bible study begins at 9 a.m. Call 541-664-1828.

Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z, Phoenix. Divine Liturgy will be served at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, following 8 a.m. Matins. A potluck picnic at Blue Heron Park follows liturgy.

A special Community Worship in the Park will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, in Alba Park. Everyone is welcome. No 8:30 a.m. service will be held.
