Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. On Sunday, Nov. 27, Matins prayers begin at 8 a.m. followed by Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. with a vegetarian potluck afterward following fasting guidelines; fish is allowed. Brief midday prayers are offered at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Havurah Synagogue

Havurah Synagogue, 185 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland, and Temple Emek Shalom will present a screening at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, of “A Third Way,” a film about the power of building intercultural and interfaith trust on a grassroots level between Israelis and Palestinians.
