Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

At 6 p.m. Saturday, May 27, Great Vespers will be celebrated at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. At 8 a.m. Sunday, May 28, Matins will precede the 9:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy. A potluck meal will be shared following the services. At 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, there will be a matins service. St. Mark's Episcopal Church

Center for Spiritual Living Rogue Valley

The Rev. Kimberly Hawkins will lead a special Taize service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 28, at the Center for Spiritual Living, at The Scottish Rites Center, 3581 Lear Way, Medford. The hour-long service will conclude with community candle-lighting and silent personal prayers. Music will be performed by Kathy Kali and Bridget Wolf. The Havurah Synagogue

At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 27, the Havurah, 185 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland, will host Brian Schachter-Brooks, Laura Berman, Rabbi David Zaslow and Ayala Zonnenschein for an evening of music, poetry and storytelling to welcome the 46th day of the Omer, the period between Passover and Shavuot that celebrates the receiving of the 10 Commandments.
