Set Free Christian Fellowship

Set Free Christian Fellowship will celebrate 20 years of growth from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at First Methodist Church, 607 W. Main St., Medford. There will be free food and prizes. In 20 years, the congregation has founded a ministry center with services Saturday and Sunday; established one of the largest food pantries in Jackson County, serving up to 100 families a week; and provides services for the homeless, including clothing, meals, water, showers and laundry. Set Free also started Rogue Retreat, which today has 44 apartments, two women's recovery homes, a thrift shop and soon-to-open Hope Village. Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z.
