Adopt a Pet

AGE: Scout is a dashing, 2-year-old tuxedo boy. He adopted from the shelter when he was a kitten, but recently his people's circumstances changed and they had to bring him back.

PERSONALITY: He is a personable cat who greets visitors to Whiskerville and helps keep kittens gently in line. He can be independent but also like pets, scritches and spending quality time with his human types.

HIGHLIGHTS: He gets along fine with other kitties as long as they're introduced properly. He's a genial lad who longs for a real home again.

AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, between Talent and Phoenix, open 7 days a week.

COST: Scout’s adoption fee is $45, and includes a free wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Scout is neutered.
