First Church of God

First Church of God, 2000 Crater Lake Ave., Medford, will hold a Christmas in July bazaar and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 14, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 15, to raise money for local missions. For information, call 541-855-4158.

Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. At 8 a.m. Sunday, July 16, Matins will be followed by Divine Liturgy at 9:30. A potluck meal will follow the services, indoors at the church. First Presbyterian Church of Central Point

First Phoenix Presbyterian Church

Unity in Ashland

Unity in Ashland will welcome musician Cecelia St. Claire at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 19, at the Havurah, 185 N. Mountain Ave. Sunday's title is "You are God — A chip off the ol' block."

St. Mark's Episcopal Church

Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, July 16, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford. Music at St. Mark's will present Elinor Frey on cello and Lorenzo Ghielmi on fortepiano or harpsichord at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 26. Bill Jennett of the Jackson County Fuel Committee will talk about “Solving the Disparity” between an abundance of resources in Southern Oregon and an inability by low-income workers, students, underemployed people and people with disabilities to meet basic needs in the midst of plenty, at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, July 16, at Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 87 Fourth St. in Ashland.
