Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

At 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, a vigil in honor of the Transfiguration of our Lord will begin at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. At 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, Divine Liturgy will be served. Bring a small basket of fruit or grapes to be blessed at the end of Liturgy. As we are in the midst of the Dormition Fast, a potluck meal featuring fish follows the service. No meat or dairy is allowed, but fish, wine and oil are permitted on this Sunday. Ascension Lutheran Church

Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 675 Black Oak Dr., Medford.
