Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. Matins prayers begin at 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, and Divine Liturgy will be served at 9:30 a.m. A potluck meal follows the service. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

In anticipation of National Coming Out Day and Rogue Valley Pride, members of Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will share how their faith journeys, and UU identities, have been shaped by their LGBTQ identity and experience, at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at 87 Fourth St., in Ashland. First Presbyterian Church, Medford

Pastor Murray Richmond will speak at both an 8:30 a.m. informal service and 10:30 a.m. traditional service Sunday, Oct. 8, at First Presbyterian Church, 85 S. Holly St., in Medford. The informal service features more contemporary music led by the Son Shine Singers in a casual atmosphere in the Fellowship Hall. The traditional service features a full Chancel Choir and pipe organ music in a formal sanctuary. World Communion Day will be observed.
