Rogue River Seventh-Day Adventist Church

Rogue River Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4300 N. River Road, Rogue River, will host a two-day Bible study featuring the book "A Pale Horse Rides" by Shawn Boonstra, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, and continuing at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. First Presbyterian Church of Central Point

The Songbirds will perform a free concert at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at First Presbyterian Church of Central Point, 456 W. Pine St. A healing worship service will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. Child care is provided. Adult Bible class is held at 9 a.m. Sunday morning.

Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers is at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. Matins prayers begin at 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, and Divine Liturgy will be served at 9:30 a.m. A potluck meal follows the service. Matins starts at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. Zion Lutheran Church, 516 W. Fourth St., Medford, will hold an anniversary celebration at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, with evening prayers and reception to follow. Worship will begin at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. First Presbyterian Church, Medford

Pastor Murray Richmond will speak at both the 8:30 a.m. informal service and the 10:30 a.m. traditional service Sunday, Oct. 29, at First Presbyterian Church, 85 S. Holly St., Medford. The informal service features more contemporary music led by the Son Shine Singers in a casual atmosphere in the Fellowship Hall. The traditional service features a full chancel choir and pipe organ music in a formal sanctuary. To celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, the choir will sing “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God,” arranged by Dan Forrest. Accompanying them will be a brass sextet with percussion and organ.
