Adopt a Pet

AGE: Spike is a handsome, personable, 3-year-old long-haired tiger tabby. This boy, who gave up the street life for the love of a family and a lap where he can curl up, will do best as the only cat in the home.

PERSONALITY: Spike is quite the cuddle-bug and entertainer. He plays like a kitten if there is someone on the other end of a string.

HIGHLIGHTS: He is FIV-positive, which makes him an ideal indoor-only cat. Not only is Spike a real sweetheart, but his adoption fee has been pre-paid by our good friend, Sid.

AVAILABLE: For more information or to set up a time to meet him, please visit the Jackson County Animal Shelter at (541) 774-6654, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., between Talent and Phoenix, open 7 days a week.

COST: Spike’s adoption fee is pre-paid and includes a free wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Spike is neutered.

ONLINE: View adoptable pets via Friends of the Animal Shelter: www.facebook.com/fotas, www.fotas.org or www.petfinder.com
