First Presbyterian Church

The Songbirds will perform a free concert at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at First Presbyterian Church of Central Point, 456 W. Pine St. A healing worship service will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 29. Adult Bible class is held at 9 a.m. Sunday. Child care is provided.

Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

The Paschal season continues with Great Vespers beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. Sunday Matins prayers will be offered at 8 a.m. April 28, followed at 9:30 a.m. with Divine Liturgy. After Liturgy a potluck meal will be shared, enjoying all the varieties of Paschal foods. There will be a Matins service at 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 1. At 6 p.m. Vespers will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, followed at 7 p.m. by a class on forgiveness taught by Father Isaac Skidmore. Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 95 Cleveland St., Shady Cove, will hold Holy Eucharist at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 29, the fifth Sunday of Easter. The Rev. St. Andrew’s Anglican Church

St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, 305 N. Fifth St., Jacksonville, will meet for morning prayer with the Litany at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 29. The Litany was composed in 1544 as a means to pray for God’s favor, and is the first officially sanctioned liturgy in English. A time of fellowship and refreshments will take place after the service.
