Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church

Great Vespers will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox church, in the Shoppes at Exit 24, 205 Fern Valley Road, Suite Z. Sunday Matins prayers will be offered at 8 a.m. May 6, followed at 9:20 a.m. with Divine Liturgy. After liturgy a potluck meal will be shared. A Matins service will start at 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 8. A class on forgiveness will be taught by Father Isaac Skidmore at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9. Vespers will be offered at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 10. Zion Lutheran Church

Worship at Zion Lutheran Church, 516 W. Fourth St., Medford, begins at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, May 6, preceded by adult Bible study at 8:15 a.m. Sunday School is offered at 10:45 a.m. On Wednesday a healing prayer service begins at 5 p.m., and an adult Bible study is held at 9 a.m. Thursday. St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 95 Cleveland St., Shady Cove, will hold Holy Eucharist at 10:30 a.m. May 6, the sixth Sunday of Easter. The Rev. Tom Buechele will officiate, and Ann Manlove will be the organist/pianist. All are welcome to coffee after the service. First Presbyterian Church, Medford

Pastor Mike Hubbard will speak at both the 8:30 a.m. informal service and 10:30 a.m. traditional service Sunday, May 6, at First Presbyterian Church, 85 S. Holly St., Medford. The informal service features more contemporary music led by the Son Shine Singers in a casual atmosphere in the Fellowship Hall. The traditional service features a full Chancel Choir and pipe organ music in a formal sanctuary. The artwork of Marilyn Hurst will be on display in the hallway gallery. Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Revelations of sexual misconduct in Hollywood sparked the #metoo movement and a nationwide discussion. In the spirit of education and healing, the Havurah Synagogue invites the public to attend a free evening of storytelling, music and learning called “Unholy Betrayal: Confronting Sexual Abuse by Spiritual Leaders,” at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at the Havurah, 185 N.
