Ashland Independent Film Festival calls for student films
The Ashland Independent Film Festival is accepting short films made by young people, grades kindergarten through college undergraduates for the 2018 Film Festival.
All film genres are accepted, including animation, documentary and narrative. Young people who live in Coos, Curry, Douglas, Jackson, Josephine and Klamath counties in Oregon, as well as Del Norte and Siskiyou counties in California, can submit their films, which must be under 5 minutes, for free to the Ashland Independent Film Festival’s LAUNCH Student Film Competition.
All film creators who submit a film will receive two tickets to the festival, which runs April 12-16. Winning films will be screened during the festival, and the filmmakers will receive cash prizes and a pass to all AIFF films and special events. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 5, 2018.
