Police are searching for the suspected killer in Saturday’s homicide in Medford.

A Jackson County grand jury on Wednesday indicted Cristian Lamberto Barboza-Valerio, 21, for second-degree murder of Adriana Paulina Mendoza Lopez, which occurred Saturday in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Medford.

Barboza-Valerio is still at large and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. His vehicle was found abandoned Saturday evening near Interstate 5 at the Oregon-California border, police reported over the weekend.

Authorities ask that anyone call 911 if they have information that could lead investigators to his current whereabouts.
