Kathleen Louise (McKnight) Massey

Kathleen Louise (McKnight) Massey, beloved friend, — wife, mother and grandmother found peace surrounded by family and friends — on after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kathy will be loved forever by her husband and companion — of 38 years, Jim, daughters Jennifer and Elizabeth, and grandchildren — Alex, Maryellen, Zach, and Jackee. She will also be loved and remembered — by her mother Camille, and brothers Michael, Pat, Rollie, and Gary. In — addition, Kathy will be forever in the hearts of countless friends and — relatives from Massachusetts, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Florida. —

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, William "Mac" — McKnight, whom she loved dearly. Kathy was a woman of exceptional courage, — compassion and loyalty. She was a loving day care provider for children, — a skilled medical office manager, and the owner/operator of Catering by — Kathy, a successful catering business. Kathy enjoyed sailing in the San — Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands for many years and never ceased to be thrilled — by the wildlife of the islands and the adventure of sailing. Above all — else, however, Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a — true friend to all. We will miss you, baby and love you forever.


39;s family is planning celebrations of her life — in accordance with her wishes. The celebration in Vancouver, Washington — will be held on Saturday, April 16th, 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. at her home — (715 West 28th St., Vancouver, WA)


39;s life will also be celebrated in Ashland, — Oregon at the home Peter and Karen Hawes, and in Chesterfield, Massachusetts — at the home of Rollie and Pam LeBeau at a later date. All those who knew — and loved Kathy are welcome.
