Jesse Taylor Ferguson, Jr.

December 20, 2005

Our loved and respected Father, Jesse Taylor Ferguson, Jr., passed to the next life on Saturday morning,. At the time of his passing, our Father was comforted by the presence and love of his wife, Lillian, and three surviving sons, Phil, Richard and Victor. Dad will join our Brother, Jay, in heaven, where we will all be reunited some day.

Our Father was born on a farm in Scotts Hill, Tennessee, educated by the Morgan Park Military Academy, and later, an aeronautical college in Chicago, IL. Dad lived a very productive and interesting life. He enjoyed many significant technical achievements through a long career as an aerospace engineer. He loved his family and we loved him. We will miss him.

39;s neighbors and friends, John and Sue Lyons, sent our family a thoughtful farewell:

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye To those for whom we care.

Parting is not easy;

But where the grief is shared The pain is lessened

And points the way to acceptance Of what is inevitable for us all.

Jess, you were a good friend and neighbor, A fine father and devoted husband Who accepted responsibility With care and courage.

It was our privilege to know you.

Now you are released from suffering. We will miss you Jess.

Time does heal the pain of parting; But our thoughts of you Will live in our minds Among our most treasured memories.
