Robert "Bob" J. Stabb, 57, of Medford, died March 20,2006 after a long battle with lung cancer. Bob was a long term resident of Medford, and worked for 25 years with the US Forestry Service at the Applegate, Butte Falls, and other Forestry facilities.
Bob was born March 28, 1948 in California, and graduated in 1971 from the University of California at Berkeley with a BS degree in Forestry. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, square dancing, and physical fitness training. Robert is survived by his father, Edward A. Stabb of Walnut Creek, Cal.; his brother, Edward D. Stabb of Redmond, Ore.; and his sister, Cynthia M. Sharp of Grand Lake, Colo.
A celebration of his life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, Ore., on April 29, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. Any donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Kitchen Building Fund, 405 E. California Street, Jacksonville, Ore., 97530, or your favorite charity.
