Nanette Decker, 78, of Central Point, died peacefully April 10, 2006 at her granddaughter, Tiffany's home, with family at her side.
Mrs. Decker was born to Clarence and Marian Lewerke, September 7, 1927, in Santa Monica, Calif.
Nanette graduated from Santa Monica High School and continued to get her degree in business at Santa Monica City College. She also attended Pacific University in Oregon.
Nanette moved to Oregon in August of 1978, and moved to Central Point in 1991, where she enjoyed bingo, texas holdem, traveling, boating, family and friends.
She was employed at Bien Padre in Grants Pass, Ore. and Eureka, Calif. She was employed at Chemold Company, Los Angeles, as a full charge bookkeeper and secretary to the company president.
Nanette is survived by her five children, Cindy Gerber and husband, Lauren of Central Point, Steve Annis of Merlin, Sheri Myers and husband, Jerry of Central Point, Michele Wentela and husband, Dean of Medford, and Mike Decker of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren, Shaun, Danielle, Tiffany, Kymberly, Kevin, Ashley, Tyler and Jeff; great-grandchild, Aidan; and her nephews, Stan and Greg Lewerke of Los Angeles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jack Lewerke, husband, Randall Decker and first husband, Miland Annis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park.
